Exhibition - The Original Art Group

An exhibition by the MIX group of artists and designers with new work on the theme of endangered flowers. Paintings, ceramics, sculpture, photography, prints, jewellery, mixed media and texiles.

Exhibition - Tayside Artists Association

The Tayside Artists Association are back for their second exhibition at the Garden this year.

RHS Guided Walk - 'Autumn Colour'

Wednesday 8th October 2008

In the Garden

• Cost - RHS Members £6.50, Non-Members £7.50 (tea and cakes included)
• Time - Starts 2.00pm

Join Alasdair Hood the Curator of the Garden for a guided walk to have a look at his favorite colouring plants - how to propagate and cultivate them. Pruning will be discussed.

• Time - 5.15pm to 8.00pm

Come to the Garden for some spooky fun. Ghost walks, spooky storytelling, badgemaking and lots more...Booking is essential tickets must be bought before the event.

Parent information -

Children must be accompanied by an adult

Purchase of a ticket will NOT guarantee a place on a ghost walk

Ghost walks are suitable for children aged 5+

The price of the ticket does not include any food or drinks from the Coffee Shop

Art Exhibition and Silent Auction

Monday 25th August to Sunday 31st August 2008

Visitor Centre, Botanic Garden

An art exhibition and silent auction will be held in the Visitor Centre at the Garden. This exhibition organised by the Friends has come about as a result of several art groups and artists in and around Dundee asking if they could donate a picture. These paintings can be viewed in the Visitor Centre between 11.00am and 7.00pm - please note the extended opening hours for the week of the exhibition to enable as many friends as possible to visit the exhibition. Friends, or if you know someone who may wish to donate a painting or picture please contact Frances Tait 01382 665719 or Kay Macfarlane 01382 566068. The silent auction will close on Sunday 31st August at 6.00pm when bids made will be taken on pictures exhibited with the successful bidders being informed on Monday 1st September.
