FRIENDS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DUNDEE BOTANIC GARDEN - FUNDRAISING EVENTSArt Exhibition and Silent AuctionMonday 25th August to Sunday 31st August 2008 Visitor Centre, Botanic Garden An art exhibition and silent auction will be held in the Visitor Centre at the Garden. This exhibition organised by the Friends has come about as a result of several art groups and artists in and around Dundee asking if they could donate a picture. These paintings can be viewed in the Visitor Centre between 11.00am and 7.00pm - please note the extended opening hours for the week of the exhibition to enable as many friends as possible to visit the exhibition. Friends, or if you know someone who may wish to donate a painting or picture please contact Frances Tait 01382 665719 or Kay Macfarlane 01382 566068. The silent auction will close on Sunday 31st August at 6.00pm when bids made will be taken on pictures exhibited with the successful bidders being informed on Monday 1st September.
